Pastor Patrick is awesome. He's a wonderful preacher and gives a relative message. I just wished the worship wasn't robotic and they'd include a multicultural worship experience (songs from a variety of artists) if they are ministering to a multicultural community...just makes it even more relatable. I enjoyed it although my children said "it felt dead". We moved back to the area a few years ago and left a dynamic multicultural non denominational church so my children were going by their past experience. I have children from 8 to teens. After a year of visiting, they didnt feel engaged at LF. They were very active at our former church. The youth had their separate facilities, ministry, praise team, drama team, events, etc. LF just doesn't have as many ministries in place yet but it's growing. My children also mentioned that they felt "tolerated" but not accepted as non white visitors. I'm just sharing their thoughts. Children tend to openly express their thoughts more than adults so maybe this will help and not hurt.
